Characteristics of UHMW-PE Material:

UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) possesses the following characteristics:

1. Low-Temperature Resistance: Capable of withstanding low temperatures.
2. UV Resistance: Resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
3. Waterproof: Demonstrates resistance to water penetration.
4. Lightweight Properties: Known for its lightweight characteristics.

UHMW-PE Notes:

Due to the poor heat resistance of polyethylene, the temperature of polyethylene inserts must be controlled within 80 ℃ (corresponding to the temperature stability of the human body and equipment at -55 ℃). Beyond this temperature, performance rapidly decreases, and melting may occur at temperatures exceeding 150 ℃. Therefore, ballistic products made from polyethylene are not suitable for high-temperature environments, such as the Middle East.

Polyethylene has low creep resistance; prolonged pressure can cause gradual deformation. Caution is recommended to avoid prolonged extrusion when using pure polyethylene in bulletproof equipment.

• BPR-06 ≈ Size: 350x450 mm ± 2 mm.
• BPR-07 ≈ Size: 150x150 mm ± 2 mm / 6x6 inches.
• BPR-08 ≈ Size: 280x350 mm ± 2 mm / 11x14 inches.

Hard Boards:

• BPY-07 ≈ Size: 250x300 mm ± 2 mm / 10x12 inches.
• BPY-07-11 ≈ Size: 280x340 mm ± 2 mm / 11x14 inches.
• BPY-18 ≈ Size: 250x300 mm ± 2 mm / 10x12 inches.

All Soft and Hard plates are made from UHMW-PE material and comply with NIJ IIIA standards. Thickness varies from 6 mm to 8 mm.
